Opportunities for our students of the Accademia Artisti Music: registrations are open for the 14th edition NYCANTA. All information

NYCANTA is the New York Italian Music Festival. Now in its 14th edition, the event is looking for songwriters, performers and bands who want to participate in the new edition. Aired on Rai 2 and Rai Italia, which broadcasts it all over the world, NYCanta has established itself as one of the most popular singing competitions in recent years, as well as for the visibility offered to all competitors, also for being the only Festival that brings the finalists to New York.

The selections of young artists again this year are entrusted to theRANCO Cultural Association in the figure of the artistic directors Beppe Stanco, teacher of music production at the Accademia Artisti, and Cesare Rascel, who over the last few years have made use of prestigious quality juries with truly exceptional appearances such as Fausto Leali, Clementino, Danti, Alan Palmieri (presenter of Battiti Live on Italia Uno and artistic director of Radio Norba) and many other.

The categories that can participate in the selections will be Song writers or artists with unreleased track, Interpreters, Band up to a maximum of 4 components e Authors. Competitors must be aged between 14 and 50, while there is no limit for bands and authors. Thanks to the collaboration between Accademia Artisti and NYCanta, the students of the Academy will be entitled to an exceptional 20% discount directly from the website www.nycanta.com, by inserting a special coupon that will be provided to interested parties. Subsequently, the artists will be contacted by the organization for information on the first stage of auditions.

The finalists of the competition will be up to a maximum of 10 and will fly and stay in New York at the expense of the organization. In addition to having the chance to win the first prize of $2.500, will share the stage with the big names of Italian music and will participate in various activities during the New York stay, including parading and performing during the suggestive Columbus Day Parade on 5th street.
