"The secret of success is listening to the public"
Cesare Rascel is a singer, composer and author. Family tradition (Renato rascel) made his debut on the stage of the Sistina theater when he was only 3 and a half years old and has never stopped since. Graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in jazz composition, after numerous experiences as an author and as a producer for RAI ed Endemol, today continues to perform concerts in Italy and America and is the artistic director of New York Italian Music Festival (worldwide and RAI2) and del Rascel Award (RAI 1).
The course focuses on the interpretation of pieces that have made the history of American and Italian musicals.
We start from the analysis of the piece for a physical and expressive performance to be associated with singing, to the refinement of intonation for the execution of pieces with complex melodies.
This musical style requires the development of particular vocal techniques, which will be covered during the course, necessary to be able to play a role in a theatrical context.
The course is presented as a vocal workshop where both the vocal technique and the expressive interpretation are taken care of.
During the lessons, the teacher will address the following points:
The aim of the course is to develop the skills necessary to analyze a piece, plan its performance and perform it vocally and interpretatively in a manner appropriate to the plot, and to modify the performance to follow the directions of the director.
