Cesare Rascel he is a singer, composer and author. Family tradition (Renato rascel) made his debut on the stage of the Sistina theater at just 3 and a half years old and has never stopped since then. Graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in jazz composition, after numerous experiences as an author and as a producer for RAI ed Endemol, today he continues to give concerts in Italy and America and is the artistic director of New York Italian Music Festival (mondovision and RAI2) and of Rascel Award (RAI 1).
The course focuses on the interpretation of songs that have made the history of American and Italian musicals.
We begin with the analysis of the piece for a physical and expressive performance to be associated with singing, with the improvement of intonation for the performance of songs with complex melodies.
This musical style requires the development of particular vocal techniques, which will be covered during the course, necessary to be able to play a role in a theatrical context.
The course is presented as a vocal laboratory where both vocal technique and expressive interpretation are taken care of.

The objective of the course is to develop the skills necessary to analyze a piece, plan its performance and perform it vocally and interpretatively in a manner appropriate to the plot, and to modify the performance to follow the directions of the director.
