Claudia Coli graduated in 2001 from the school of the Teatro Stabile in Genoa, completed her training in France at Studio Pygmalion, and in Italy at the Santa Cristina Theater Center directed by Luca Ronconi.
Subsequently he participates in several advanced workshops in Rome with Doris Hicks and Susan Main.
His stage debut arrives in 2000 at the Genoa Theater in the show “I reverendi” directed by Jerzy Stuhr.
Immediately after he moved to Rome, where he began a career dividing himself between theater and cinema.
In cinema he made his debut in 2001 in a starring role in the film “The words of my father” by Francesca Comencini, selected at the Cannes Film Festival, in the Un certain regard section.
This is followed by theatrical performances directed by Valerio Binasco such as “The Seagull of Chekhov (in which she plays Nina and Cara professor of Ljudmila Razumovskaja.
In 2003 she was nominated for the Ubu Award as a New Actress (under 30).
He returns to the cinema with Andrea Manni's “Il fugitive” based on the novel by Massimo Carlotto.
In 2004-2005 she played Liliana Ungari in the television miniseries "Amanti e Secrets" directed by Gianni Lepre broadcast on Rai 1.
In 2005, director Patrice Chéreau chooses her to play Yvonne in the film “Gabrielle”, where she plays in French alongside Isabelle Huppert. Later, still in the cinema, she works with Renato De
Maria, Francesco Falaschi, Marina Spada and recently with Maria Sole Tognazzi in her latest film “Io e lei”.
On television, again directed by Renato De Maria, he takes part in the serial “Medicina Generale”.
In 2006 he took part in a mise en espace entitled “Mastroianni and Cechov” directed by Nikita Michalkov.
In 2008 she is Natasha in Anton Pavlovič Čechov's Three Sisters directed by Massimo Castri.
In 2009 he signed his idea together with the musician Arturo Annecchino entitled "Miss Else ... and some little waltzes" taken by Arthur Schnitzler, a project between words and piano music.
In the 2012-2013 season she is one of the protagonists of the brilliant comedy “Cercasi tenore” directed by Giancarlo Zanettial. Subsequently she works with Elio De Capitani and Ferdinando Bruni taking part in the show Frost / Nixon by Peter Morgan produced by the Teatro dell'Elfo in Milan.
The course is based on teaching the basics of acting, through the study of texts.
In the initial phase, the work involves the body by means of physical training, in order to achieve a greater awareness of oneself and one's emotions. These exercises are carried out with the use of music, which stimulates the so-called "sensory".
Subsequently, some Acting techniques are introduced, making use of "Simple Dialogues", analyzing the lines for objectives that translate into Actions to be interpreted.
An Action is the attempt to achieve a goal, or to put it more simply, it is the attempt to achieve something; to deal with a text, it is necessary to highlight the Actions present within it and carry them out in the most authentic way possible. The mere search for the Character or the Emotion leads to an artificial interpretation.
This method, on the other hand, will allow us to fully understand the meaning of the words and the revelations that may derive from them.
Referring to a text by Ivana Chubbuck, we move on to the identification of the actor's inner needs, transposing them into the Character.
The program intensifies with the analysis of more complex texts, of contemporary dramaturgy and taken from various films. Based on the level of the class, simulations of an audition will be organized.
